The Canadian Down Syndrome Society has a ton of excellent resources for parents, educators, and employers. This website details ways to get involved with the community, shares important events including World Down Syndrome Day, and provides many ways for advocates and self-advocates to become more involved in the Down Syndrome community

Down Syndrome Association of Ontario is a wonderful resource that allows parents and educators to communicate with local agencies throughout Ontario who offer support to people with Down Syndrome. They offer a list of local agencies in which Down Snydrome support exists and also gives great information for parents when it comes to their child in school. Suggestions include IPRC meetings and how parents should go into these meetings and what to expect.

The Down Syndrome Research Foundation provides some excellent resources for teachers with regards to incoprating technology into the classroom. Their main focus is on Ipads and the apps that can be used to assist children with Down Syndrome. They also provide videos that help teacher develop learning stratgies like successful stratgies for beginning readers with Down Syndrome. There are many more videos as well.
